Lolo National Forest Land Management Plan Revision
The Lolo National Forest has been reaching out for comments on their proposed actions for their forest
plan revision. This comment period ends on April 1, 2024. All to often when the USFS reaches out for comments on any type of project, people feel like someone else will do the commenting or the USFS has made their decision and asking for comments is only a formality. This is not true. Now is your time to put in your ideas on the forest revision plan. This plan covers all issues from forest management, recreation opportunities for all, habitat and wildlife, and social-economic issues, to name a few. This plan
will cover your forest activities for the next twenty to thirty years. It is your responsibility, not the politicians or your neighbors. Look it up the on Lolo Fotest website or find it in your local ranger station or local public library. In that Lolo Forest Plan website, you will find a submit a comment link. It's in your ballpark now.
To follow bills, check in to the Montana State Legislature website and follow any bill whether it is still progressing or not.
