Red Devils fall in home contest

The Noxon-Thompson Falls Red Devils faced the Ronan Chiefs falling 0-12.

Swiftly the Chiefs were able to strike out the Red Devils while putting two runs on the board before the second inning. Headed into the second the Red Devils were able to strike out Ronan before they were able to get on second base. The Chiefs however would keep their aggressive defense to keep the Devils from scoring. Ronan was able to add to the board in the third inning, scoring two more runs while the Devils were unable to break past Ronan’s defense. Headed into the fourth inning, the Chiefs were able to strike the Devils in three, while scoring five runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth. In the final inning the Devils would be struck out on just four plays, while the Chiefs added three more runs to take the win.

The Devils welcome Polson on Thursday at home.
