Independently owned since 1905
Last week, we installed a new sign on the front of the Ledger building. We make signs, banners, photo canvases and other items in our print shop, and our work can be seen all over town. However, the front of our own building lacked adequate signage. Someone I know who drives through town several times a week asked me recently where the Ledger was. That got me motivated to create our new sign. It only took me seven years, but now no one can say they didn't know where we are.
We also recently branched out in our offerings. In an effort to provide another way to keep the community informed, The Ledger launched Sanders County 365 (SC365). It's a website (www.sanderscounty365.com) that allows anyone to post events for free. We have our community calendar that we publish on the Business Services page each week, but I was finding that we still didn't know everything that was going on in our wonderful communities. Not everyone reads the newspaper, as we found out a few weeks ago when the Question of the Week asked such and no one said they read the paper. Not everyone uses social media or has a smartphone. However, our hope is that most everyone can access the SC365 website.
Our goal is for SC365 to be a one-stop-shop for happenings in Sanders County, accessible to all. Individuals, businesses and organizations can post events directly to the page, and we also have options for businesses and organizations to have a page dedicated to just their events. The website goes one step further in that you can embed it into your own site (for information on that, contact our office).
Our goal is to keep Sanders County informed, and we hope SC365 is a step in the right direction. If you have any questions or need help posting, call The Ledger at 406-827-3421. — Annie Wooden
