The Thompson Falls and Plains cross country teams hit the road taking on the Corvallis meet.
Plains sophomore Marina Tulloch took first place for the women with her stunning time of 19 minutes and 35 seconds. Savannah Costner came in behind with a time of 22:24, teammate Tia Bellinger close behind with 23:36. Annika Ercanbrack (24:43) and Ireland Corbin (24:58) crossed the finish line close together.
John Jermyn also helped Plains gain fourth place as a team with his time of 17:08. Cord Greer had a time of 18:37, while Kalem Ercanbrack (19:07) and teammate Mike Reistroffer (19:22) came in close together. Jack Cockrell had a time of 20:09, and Brock Ryan crossed in 21:14.
For the Hawks Weston Block had a great time of 19:30, with Blake Shusterman close behind at 20:49. Nathan Baxter had a time of 21:04, with Tuff Ryder behind with a time of 21:48. Luke Pastorius rounded it off for the Hawks with his time of 22:06.
Aubrey Baxter led for the Hawk women with her time of 22:13, with freshman Lexi Franck behind with 24:03. Evalyn Edwards had a time of 24:45, and Peighton Kenney crossed the finish line in 25:05.
Thompson Falls will host their annual invitational this weekend. Races start at 2 p.m. Saturday at River's Bend Golf Course.
