PLAINS 3, ST. REGIS 0

The Plains Trotters took on the St. Regis Tigers winning in three sets.

The Trotters came out hot and were able to gain the lead early, Plains was able to keep their serving lead and soon had a massive 10 point lead over the Lady Tigers. They would hold onto their massive lead for the whole match. Keeping the Tigers to only eight points while gaining the set win.

Headed into the second set the Tigers found their groove and were able to go point for point with the Trotters. Until Taylor Saner was able to get the serve and help the Trotters take a four point lead. Plains would hold onto their lead, making the Tiger defense work against their hard hitting front row. Soon the Trotters had a colossal 11 point lead over St. Regis. Plains was able to keep a level head and would be able to keep their lead and take the second set win.

The final set would start with St. Regis going volley for volley with the Trotters, until once again with the help of Taylor Saner Plains was able to take the lead. Working together the Trotters would try to make their lead larger but the Tigers would find a few quick tips to bring their points back up. But Plains never faltered and was able to take back the serve and their six point lead. The Tigers would get back the serve and would be able to gain a few points but they wouldn't be able to stop the hard hitting Trotters from taking the match win.

"We were able to try some things. After the first set, we took Claire out of the setting position and ran a 6-2 with Kalli Tuma and Mila Rivinius. Both did very well," said head coach Kim Lakko.

Teagan Saner led the Trotters with eight spikes, Lexi Deming and Clarie Lakko behind with four. Teagan also led with four blocks, Aubree Butcher behind with three. Kalli Tuma and Taylor Saner each had four aces for the Trotters. Aly Roy and Taylor Saner each had six digs.

PLAINS 3, ARLEE 0

The Trotters then hosted the Arlee Scarlets taking the win in three sets.

The teams came out going point for point until the Trotters were able to take the lead. Plains would hold onto their lead while hammering down hard spikes making Arlee work extra for each of their points. But once the Trotters got the serve they were determined to hold onto it, and they would hold the Scarlets to just 19 points while taking the first set for their own.

In the second set, the Trotters would take the lead once again. With the help of Teagan Saner's serves Plains was able to take a quick six point lead. Arlee would come back to gain the serve and several points to close the point gap. But the Trotters would hold onto their lead and gain the serve back, and soon they had another 10 point lead over the Scarlets. Plains would hold Arlee to just 12 points while taking the second set win.

Plains kept their momentum and was able to take a quick lead in the third set. After intense volleys Arlee would be no match for Teagan Saner's serves as she hammered down several aces and within a blink of an eye the Trotters had a massive 14 point lead over the Scarlets. While Arlee was able to gain six points it wouldn't be enough to take the match win over the swift hitting Trotters.

PLAINS 3, DABY 0

The Trotters then hit the road taking on the Darby Lady Tigers continuing their winning streak in three sets.

Plains and Darby would start going point for point in the first set, before the Trotters were able to take the lead. Plains would have a four point lead over the Tigers, before Darby was able to close the point gap, but the Trotters kept a level head and after several intense volleys were able to gain the serving lead and hold the Tigers to just 14 points while gaining their own. The Trotters would allow the Tigers to gain two more points before taking the set win.

The Trotters came out on fire for the second set and quickly took the lead, with the help of Teagan Saner's serves Plains was able to take a five point lead over the Tigers early. They would hold onto their lead for much of the second set, and in a blink of an eye the score was 22-11. The Trotters would hold the Tigers to only gaining two points while taking the second set win.

The Tigers found their way out of their cage for the final set, and would tie the set at five points. They would take the lead for the first time in the game, but the Trotters kept their momentum and were able to keep the points within two. And after tying up at 12 the Trotters were able to take back their lead. After fierce volleys to tie the game back up, Plains was able to take back the serve and gain points to make the point gap larger. The Trotters would keep the Tigers to just 16 points while serving up several aces, and Claire Lakko was able to set up Taylor Saner for an epic spike to take the match win.

Teagan Saner led the Trotters with nine spikes, Kalli Tuma behind with five. Teagan also led with 10 blocks with Aubree Butcher behind with five. Taylor Saner had nine digs for Plains, with Claire Lakko getting four. Lakko led with 21 set assists, and Teagan had four aces.

NOXON 3,

ALBERTON 0

The Red Devils hosted the Alberton Panthers taking the win in three quick sets.

Alberton came out and gained the first points before Seanna Richter was able to get the serve and help the Devils tie up the game early. The teams would go point for point until Noxon was able to take the lead over the Panthers, they would keep their serving lead with the help of eighth grader Nevaeh Christensen who was able to slam down several aces. Noxon would keep a seven point lead over the Panthers, allowing only two points before taking the set win.

The Devils came out on fire in the next set and quickly took another seven point lead over Alberton. They would make their lead even larger by going 13-3 with the Panthers. Noxon was able to keep onto their lead before Alberton was able to gain the serve back and make a slight comeback. It wouldn't be enough to close the massive point gap that the Devils had already made. Noxon would take the second set 25-12.

In the final set, Noxon started ahead but Alberton was quick to catch up. It would be the Panthers who would take the lead in the set. But the Devils never faltered and were able to lessen the point gap between them. The Panthers were swift to keep the lead, making Noxon work extra hard for every point they gained until the game was tied at 22. With the crowd on the edge of their seats Noxon was able to make a comeback to win the match.

Jasmin Risch led with 12 set assists, while Seanna Richter had five. Richter led the Devils with 12 spikes. Nevaeh Christensen hammered down nine aces for Noxon, with Risch behind with seven. Richter and Risch led the Devils with three digs.

NOXON 3, VICTOR 1

Noxon then hit their home court again, taking on the Victor Lady Pirates securing the win in four sets.

The devils came out to gain the first points, but the Pirates were quick to tie up the game. Noxon put in the work and was able to take back the lead, but Victor was able to keep the points close together. Until the Devils kept their momentum and would hold the Pirates at just 17 points while taking the first set win.

The second set started with the Pirates taking the lead, but Noxon was close behind and would take the lead briefly. Before Victor found their groove and would hold the Devils while taking the lead. While Noxon was able to catch up they wouldn't be able to take the second set win.

Headed into set three both teams came out on fire, going point for point until Noxon was able to take the lead. After intense volleys the Pirates would take back their lead making the Devils work for their points. With the game tied at 23 it would be the Devils who would get the serve and the final two points to take the set win.

The final set Noxon kept their groove and kept the Pirates on their toes, gaining the first points. Victor never faltered and was able to come back putting the points close together. Noxon would try to put more points between them but would tie the game at 23 points again. The Devils would keep their fire and be able to gain the final two points to take the match win.

Seanna Richter led for the Devils with four aces, Lieah Prichard, Emma Swanson, and Jasmin Risch each earned three. Richter and Risch each had 11 set assists, setting up Swanson and Sandy Bonney with seven spikes each. Richter dug up 13 digs, with Prichard behind with six.

The Devils hit the road taking on the Drummond Lady Trojans on Thursday.

THOMPSON 3,

ARLEE 0

The Thompson Falls Lady Hawks hit the road taking on the Arlee Scarlets taking the win in three sets.

The teams came out going point for point until the Hawks were able to gain the lead. The Scarlets would try to keep the points close together but the hard hitting Hawks would keep their large lead, making Arlee work for their points. The Hawks with the help of Annalise Fairbank was able to keep their serving lead and would hold the Scarlets to just 14 points while taking a massive lead and the first set win.

Thompson came out on fire for the second set and quickly took a massive seven point lead over the Scarlets. The Hawks would hand onto their large lead for much of the set, with the help of the hard hitting front row Thompson would hold Arlee to just eight points while taking the second set win.

The Hawks kept their fire and would come out in the third set to take another massive lead over the Scarlets. Arlee would try to lessen the point gap but they were unable to get past the well oiled Hawk hitting machines that was the front row. Thompson would hold the Scarlets to only nine points before a backrow spike from libero Olivia Fitchett would let the Hawks take the match win.

Annalise Fairbank led with 31 set assists, setting up Sarah Koskela and Gabu Hannum for 11 spikes each. Hannum led the Hawks with three blocks. Addy Deal and Fairbank each earned five aces.

THOMPSON FALLS 3, DARBY 0

The Hawks then hosted the Darby Tigers taking the win in three quick sets.

The teams would go point for point to start the game, before the Hawks were able to take the serving lead. With the help of Gabi Hannum's serves Thompson would take a swift seven point lead. The Hawks worked together to keep their large lead, making the Tigers work extra for their points. Thompson would hold onto their large lead and would take the first set win.

The Hawks were able to get a big lead over the Tigers. Darby would find their groove and bring the points close together but they wouldn't be able to take the lead from the hard hitting Hawks. Working together like a well oiled machine Thompson would hold the Tigers to just 13 points.

Deal would start the third and final set with two aces setting the tone for the Hawks. The Tigers would tie the game early, but the Hawks kept their groove and were able to take the lead once again. Thompson would hold onto their massive lead for much of the set and would cage the Tigers at just nine points while hammering down spikes and aces to take the match win.

Fairbank earned 20 of the team's 21 set assists, setting up Addi Pardee for seven spikes. while Koskela and Hannum each earned six. Deal would lead with five aces while Pardee earned four.

HOT SPRINGS 1, VALLEY CHRISTIAN 3

The Savage Heat hit the road taking on the Valley Christian Eagles falling in four sets.

The Eagles came out soaring and were able to take the lead over the Heat early on in the set, Hot Springs would try to make a comeback and tie the game at nine. The Eagles would hold the Savage Heat to just those nine points while taking the set win.

The Savage Heat would come out on fire for the second set and would take a short lead, until Valley Christian was able to gain the serve and would take back the lead. The teams would volley back and forth before the Eagles would hold Hot Springs to just 10 points, while making their lead larger and taking the set win.

Hot Springs never gave up, and came out with new fire in the third set and quickly took the lead, while the Eagles kept the points close. Valley Christian was able to take back the lead, but the Heat kept the points within two until they were able to take the set win.

Fired up from their set win the Heat would come out to gain the first points over the Eagles in the final set. The teams would engage in intense volleys before Valley Christian would take back the lead, making the Heat work together for their points. They would go point for point until the Eagles were able to pull ahead and take the match win,

HOT SPRINGS 3, TWO EAGLE RIVER 0

Hot Springs then went on to host the Two Eagle River Lady Eagles taking the win in three quick sets.

The Savage Heat came out and were able to take the lead, but the Eagles were quick to keep the points within two. Hot Springs kept their groove and would be able to make their lead larger while keeping Two Eagle on their toes. The Heat would be able to hold the Eagles while gaining more points to take the set win.

Going into the second set, Hot Springs was able to take a massive lead over the Eagles early. While the Eagles tried to catch up they weren't able to put out the heat that Hot Springs had. The Savage Heat would hold Two Eagle to just five points before they took the second set win.

Keeping up with the fire, the Heat came out and took another lead over the Eagles, with the help of Brooke Jackson's serves. Hot Springs wouldn't let the Eagles get double digits on the board before they would take the match win.
