Hawk harriers prepare to host divisional meet

The Plains and Thompson Falls cross country teams hit the road one last time in the regular season to take on the Mission Shadow Duels at the Silver Fox golf course in Ronan, with the Thompson ladies taking third place as a team and the Plains boys taking fourth place as a team.

For the Hawks, eighth grader Audrey Fairbank sped to an 11th-place finish in 21 minutes, 59 seconds. Lexi Franck continues to improve her time crossing the finish line with a time of 22:51. Aubrey Baxter (23:03) and Peighton Kenney (23:38) crossed close together. Evy Edwards had a time of 24 minutes flat, while teammate Maddy Zyromski ran JV for the Hawks earning a time of 25:42, a new personal best.

Weston Block had a new personal best with his time of 18:51, while teammate Blake Shusterman had a seasonal best time of 20:25. Nathan Baxter came close behind with a time of 20:52, while Luke Pastorius had a time of 21:25. Jakob Molin had a new seasonal best with his time of 23:11, and Tuff Ryder ran JV for the Hawks, also earning a seasonal best with his impressive time of 20:29.

Helping the Horsemen take fourth as a team was John Owen Jermyn, who took fifth place with his stunning time of 16:53. Kalem Ercanbrack came behind with a time of 18:31, and Cord Greer crossed with a time of 18:57. Mike Reistroffer had a grand time of 19:04, and Brock Ryan rounded it out for Plains with his time of 20:09. Asher Seymour (21:56) and Remington Ryan (22:07) had great times for JV for the Horsemen.

It was no surprise that Marina Tulloch continued taking first place for the Trotters, earning a time of 18:33. Savannah Costner was behind with a time of 21:43. Tia Bellinger had a time of 22:42, with teammate Ireland Corbin behind with a stunning time of 23:13.

Thompson hosts the Western B/C Divisional meet Thursday.
