Veterans Day 2024

Dear Neighbor,

I’m writing this letter on behalf of my father and other relatives that served this great country.

So, on Veterans day 2024, I wish to express these thoughts for my father Master Chief Petty Officer Dale S. Robirts, my uncle Master Sergeant Kenneth Jackson, his son Senior Chief Petty Officer Randy Jackson, who guarded U.S. Embassies all over the world for 20 years as a Marine, and Randy Bedwell, a U.S. FBI agent killed in the line of duty. That’s not to mention 30-40 other relatives of mine who have served, all to keep this country free.

So, when I see the Trump presidency flag flying on your porch, it is all those people I just mentioned, and so many others that have served over the life of our great country, that give you the right to fly that flag, and I respect that right.

On the other hand, I am also disgusted by the man you are flying that flag for.

Here, in Donald Trump is a guy that is convicted of rape and brags about grabbling women by the crotch. He has stolen sensitive, classified documents of national importance, filed for bankruptcy six times and he has colluded with the enemy - Russia.

Not to mention having the Afghan government release 5,000 terrorist prisoners from jail before he left office. To top it off, he also tried to overthrow the U.S. government on January 6, 2021.

Military officials who served in his own previous administration say Trump is a traitor and went on record against him before the election. And he is a confirmed draft dodger, a fact which he has never denied.

I know you have your reasons for flying that flag and I would never ask you to take it down. But I just wanted you to know that Donald Trump is not a Christian, he is not patriotic and he doesn’t follow the Constitution. He is only out to represent the billionaire class and take care of the rich… people like Harlan Crowe, Paul Singer, Jeffrey Teal, the Heritage Foundation, Citizens United, and Christian Nationalists to name a few. Read the Powell Memo by former Chief Justice Lewis Powell, that’s what is going on.

I wholeheartedly support Israel but stop the genocide.

Just food for thought.
