The Thompson Falls Woman’s Club pinochle marathon has new leaders after October’s play. Tamra Raiche and Mitzi Hart are now in first place with 12,780 points, while Cathy Mills and Jim Hurst are in second with 12,430 and Juanita Triplett and Cal Pomrenke sit in third with 11,130.
For October, Juanita and Cal were first with 6,230. Other October scores include: Patti Coe and Wendy Kelley, 6,160; Tamra and Mitzi, 5,860; Kelley and Ron Beaty, 5,210; Mills and Hurst, 5,130; Jim Krogman and Alan Renard, 5,060; Pat Ingraham and Nancy Gressang, 4,930; Sarah Dramstad and Marilyn Saunders, 4,810; Kelley and Hurst, 4,760; Mills and Joni Mosher, 4,570; Dramstad and Elizabeth Haagenson, 4,310; Mikki Jackson and Maureen Kolodziej, 4,010; Kay Rasor and Joyce Hilt, 3,760; Alan and Lorri Renard, 3,680; Coe and Gressang, 2,690; Hurst and Mosher, 1,790.
No teams have earned 1,000 Aces or 1,500 Trump in the two months of play. The pinochle marathon raises money for scholarships given to local students by the Woman’s Club. Play continues through April.
