Hot Springs FFA competes at Ag Expo

by Kara Christensen

On November 13, the Hot Springs FFA chapter headed off to Bozeman for the Ag Expo sponsored by John Deere dealers. While there, FFA members competed in numerous career and leadership development events. The chapter competed in 10 events, but impressive placings consisted of the FBM team placing ninth overall and Odin Max placing eighth individually. The floriculture team placed in the top 25% of teams, and the food science individual competitions placed Odin Max as eighth and Kora Hensrude as 13th. Lastly, Odin Max placed once again in the top 25% of individuals in sales.

Hot Springs FFA is excited to continue competing and improving throughout the year. Attending were (at right from left) advisor Justin Wright and students Callie Cano, Lilia Sapanel, Lanet Jakabosky, Hollis Key, Keawe Ilac, Odin Max, Robert Setters, Mackenzie Johnson, Kora Hensrude, Kara Christensen, and Erica Cannon.
