RE: personality disorders

Read with interest Jim Elliott's November 21 column regarding personality disorders. While I am not certain he was writing about the President Elect, that is the impression I took from it. (Gosh I had no idea one could become an authority on something by reading Good Housekeeping magazine. Why spend 8 plus years in medical school and tens of thousands of dollars?)

I couldn't help but noticing Mr. Elliott's notation that he spent 16 years in the Montana Legislature, so maybe he recognizes the disorder. Although I would have to agree with him to a certain extent, I think this could be applied to anyone who seeks the limelight i.e. entertainers, politicians etc. excepting those blessed with a huge talent or motivated by absolute love of country that propelled them into fame.

(Disclosure: I was once nominated for senior class President, and much to my horror, was elected.)

Getting back to President Trump, and his 2ND TERM (praise the Lord)!! I thought I read (or heard, gee whiz getting old) that he is replacing someone who has spent 40 some years in office? I guess it is never too late to utilize your personality disorder.

I once ran across this quote (more or less) and can't recall who said it (maybe great-great uncle Winston by marriage, on my fathers side) "If you aren't a Democrat when you are young-you don't have a heart. If you aren't a Republican when you are older-you don't have a brain."

Winston was extremely mouthy and didn't suffer fools.
